French miieiiuiH and delaines arc, shown iv many pleasing effects. There is this year much to be said in favour of the English printed goods, the beauty and softness of their finish being remarkable. Novelties include frieze linen, a capital idea, iv #ich the introduction of a white curl thread conveys the effect of a .wool frieze. Fresh goods are lauding by every boatsand we will have more to say on the complete arrivals a little later on.
