N.Z.L. and M.A. Co 's Stock Report.
The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report as follows: — During the week we held a clearing sale of dairy stock on beliajf o^MaG' -H. Hawkins at Linlon, and the.tisual .weekly sale at Palmerston North on Thursday. At Mr Hawkins' sale there was a fair* attendance, and cows made )ip to )c12.%$ '6d^"AtJPalniCrston on Thursday there was a large attendance, but iew buyers were present, and prices were easier all round than the previous rates. Tlie yarding consisted principally of young cattle, which met with good sale, and low-conditioned hfiferg, which were neglected and difficult to quit, although vendors were prepared to do^business. We quote-^ Mr Hawkins' salfe — Cattle: Cows iv full profit, £7 10s to ,£l2 2Bi6d; spring calvers, .£6 10s to ,£10; late calvers, .£4 12s 6d' to ,£7 ss; bulls, £% to <£3; mixed weaners and yearlings; £% 8s- 6d-. Prgsr Breeding sows, 35s to £4i 2s 6d; weaner pigs, 10s to 14s. Horses : Spring trap mare, .£3O ; gfs 6d-r 3-yehr '-fill- £14.
