The boat turng.outtto be not the long-looked-for missing , qnc containing the third officer's party } tbut ,No. 6, which was swamped shortly after ,it was launched. Its occupants 1 , wcren -picked up by one of the other boats, which' got away from tHe Elingamite, No. 6 being oarried away t>y the current. The' captain of the Otago sighted it on" November 22nd, not' 13 days after the wreck, 45 niilqp north-east of the North Cape. He lowered a boat and stowed it on the ship, It is badly knocked about, all the fittings gone, and the bottom boards missing. On the day previoxis to, picking it up. they sighted a quantity of wreckage. The drift «f the current was strong to tlie north-east off the Three Kings. . <
