FRASER-FRASER.
Yesterday,, at the Girls' College, a most pleasing ceremony, was performed by the Rev. Mr Boss, who united in matrimony Mr A. D.- Fraser, of Dunedin, and Hiss Margaret Helen Fraser, sister of * Miss Fraser, M.A., lady principal of 'the College. The wedding was quite unique iv its surroundings. The troops of happy,* pretty, graceful girl pupils, the wealth of floral decorations, and the picturesque appearance of the College itself,, lending great charm to/, the occasion. - The-, bride, accompanied by Mr J. D. Greig, walked up the dining hall, where, the ceremony was held, under a- series of moßt lovely floral arches held by the girls. , As their fresh young voices joined in the hmyn beginning 1 — Perfect love . all human thought transcending, Lowly we kneel in prayer before .Thy throne, • » That theirs may be the lovo which knows no ending, Whom Thou for evermore doest join in one. — a picture was made, the memory of which will not easily fade. The bride was most beautifully dressed in grey, with hat 'to match, and was waited upon by three charming little jnaids — the Misses Greig^-dresscd in the very daintiest 'of white- muslin and lace frocks, with picture hats. They carried exquisite baskets of flowers, tlieso latter, as well as handsome gold being the 'gifts of the bridegroom. Mr Fraser was attended by his cousin, Mr Fraser,. M.H.R. for Wakatipu. Miss Fraser wore a lovely black voile, with Paris hat of black and white chiffon; she, as also 'the bride, carrying the choicest shower bouquets, made by Mr* Wood. This lady, with niany willing' assistants, had transformed the interior of the College into a veritable bower of flowers. The breakfast was laid in the large sitting-room. The place of honor at the beautifully-decorated tables being given to. a handsome wedding cake, the gift of friends. ' The manyvaluable gifts included a gold watch tfnd 'chain from the bridegroom. The newly-wed conple left for the South, amidst showers of rose petals and many congratulations and good wishes.
