A gold- chain bangle, with padlock, was lost on Show day. As the owner values the bangle" above its intrinsic value, a handsomo reward is offered for its recovery.

Messrs F. R. Jackson and Co. advertise a clearing sule of stock and furniture at the Rev. George Wilks* farm, "St. Martin's" Makirikiri, on Tuesday, 3rd December.

Mr Littlejohn desires us to contradict the rumour that he has sold, or intends to sell, his business. He adds that Wanganui has been too good to him since he opened to even dream of such a thing.

Read Bros, will sell, to-morrow (commencing at 1 o'clock), the whole of Mr A. Summers' valuable furniture, at his residence, Bates Street (opposite tho Courthouse). The furniture is all new, and the piano is also a fine instrument.

Mr ,C. L. Duigan, house and land agent, offers an exceptional bargain to a prompt purchaser, in the shape of a comfortable and new five-roomed lioubo on a full quarter-acre town section. Messrs Criohtoii and Newman have also just opened up a consignment of Ford's children's American boots and shoes iv the newest shapes, and a special line of gent's, patent leather dress boots from the well-known firm of G. E. Keith and Co.
