1 The Ageht-Goneral's Report (Per United Press Association.) ' WELLINGTON, November 25. The Agent-General's cablegram, dated 23rd, states :— The average price to-day of Canterbury mutton is 3Jd; Dunedin, Southland, and Wellington Meat Export Co., 3}d; other North Island 3 l-Bd, River Plate 2sd. Market weak; River Plate in large supply, and being strongly pushed for "sale. Canterbury lamb, 4 l-Bd, other New Zealand lamb 4d. Scarcely any demand ; prices nominal. New Zealand beef— Hinds 3Jd, fores 2|d. Choicest butter firm; Australian lls. For inferior butters market dull. Large stocks in cold store. Cheese market unsettled ;_ Canadian 455.
