The' Te Aute Fire. Later Particulars. (Per "United Press Association.) WAIPAWA, November 23. Particulars of the'Te Aute fire show that Mrs Edwards and another Maori woman and. four children were sleept ing in the whare. They left a candle burning, which fell on the mats. The old woman escaped, and Mrs Edwards got, out with the baby, but tho efforts to rescue the others was un- " availing.- , , _-:*. ', The eldest, a girl -named Maria, 10 years Oldj-was tfwflently- suffocated, being found lying "on the~bed. The boy, Te.Ponaka, 3J .years of age, i and the girl Pepe, 2 years old, were, i found near the door. . ~ ~ •
