MORE CASUALTIES REPORTED.

CHRISTCHURCH, August 22. The Premier .has received the following cablegram from Capetown, dated August 21:—''The following casualties are reported in Hamilton's force: — Trooper Polsam. (this name has been . mutilated), and Lieutenant Bradbourne _JFernside, No. 1 Company, Third Contingent) dangerously wounded in the stomach. The latter has since died. 357 Albwood (probably Private Aidworth, Rangitikei, Second Contingent) wounded in shoulder, not serious." The Premier has received a correction of the cablegram of August 19, to the effect that it was Private Bolton, of Nelson, and not Private Bottom, of Denniston, who was dangerously wounded at Ottosdorp cm August 16. The Premier received the following cablegram from tho Premier of Victoria:—"By cable message received yesterday, the general of communications informs ua thnt the Wilcannia sailed for Melbourne on August 16, having on board, amongst others, the following New Zealanders:—Privates 517 Wright, 430 Morris, 160 Mitchell. Please arrange for transhipment of men belonging to New Zealand." The telegram ends. "Men will be looked after on arrival here and their passages arranged for."
