800 BRITISH WOUNDED. Dr MacCormac states that at the battle of Tugela (fought about a month ago) when Sir Redvers Buller was driven back on tho first attempt to cross the iWcr, the fighting finished at two o'clock in tho afternoon and that by six o'clock the same evening eisjht hundred wounded wore placed in the hospitals. Most of their wounds were well dressed on the field, under firo. He also states that there are great improvemeits in tho comforts for tho wounded
