WANGANUI'S CONTRIBUTION.
Mr Hatrick wired as follows to the Commandant of the Now Zealand forces yesterday — "Colonel Pole-Penton, Wellington. — Applications for enrolment hero now exceed 70. Expect over 100 by Saturday, when we close list. Money for equipment and transport of our Conringont quite assured. Can you arrange to start passing our men next Monday. Reply so as can advise all applicants. Alexander Hatrick, Mayor, Wanganui."
