THE THIRD CONTINGENT.
SUGGESTED SEND-OFF AT LYTTELTON. WELLINGTON, January 22. Tho New Zealand Times urges that as a compliment to Canterbury's action the camp of the third contingent be fixed at Chnstchurch, aud tho departure of the men tako place at Lyttelton. It suggests the Government should charter the steamer Undaunted, and should pick up the Kortli Islanders here and then go South for the final ceremony.
