The grounds arc reported to be m splendid condition, the Wnncjaiuu C.C.'s mower having been lined with good effect on tho grass tracks. Tbe sports will commence at 11.30, and as indicated t-n the programme each e\ent will bo got off punctually to time. This infers particnl.uly to those interested in tho cycling and pedestrian events. II may be mentioned that the box of heather lccently rceehed liom Scotland will be sold on the ground at one shilling per sprig, for the benefit of tho v, idows and orphans of the Highland 'Hiig-ndo engaged in the Smith African War.
