AUCKLAND, January 18. The Fiji Times, to hand from Suva by the Taviuni, says: — "A movement is oh foot in Suva just now for the object of collapting the names of those members of the Volunteer force and others who are willing to offer for active service in South Africa, when collected to be handed to tho Commandant, and if the colonial Government is willing to disburse tho necessary funds, there should be no great difficulty in the way. Already a goodly number of signatures are appended. When the news of the movement gets about many offers will come in from Levtika and from, tho country. The liioMment ia by no means confined to Volunteers. All names will be forwarded to headquarters."
