HAWERA'S EFFORTS.
HAWERA, January 20. The concert last night in aid of the Patriotic Fund was most enthusiastic. i!6O were realised, £10 of which was contributed during the reciting of "The Ab-sont-minded Beggar." The fund now stands at .£220, while the "More Men" Fund totals close on .£IOO.
