FREEMAN R. JACKSON AND CO.'S JOHNSONTILLE REPORT.
JOHNSONTILLE, January 16. Freeman R. Jackson and Co., in conjunction with Messrs Abraham and Wil- .- limns, report as to their Johnsonville stock sale as follows : — Bullocks, rather below average numbers, mainly comprised medium weights of good quality. Heavier weights wore j at slightly lower values than last week, I and shy bullocks were neglected. Good , quality medium weights maintained recent values. Ox beef brought from 16s to 17s per lOOlbs. A short supply of sheep made better values than last week. -Fair quality lambs sold freely. Tho porkers entered were of exceptional quality, and did not realise their value. Quotations - Heavy bullocks, £7 10s to £7 17s 6d; medium weights, £C, 10s to £7 7s 6d, indifferent bul\ocks .£5 15s. Prime owes, 9« 3d to 9s 10d; butchers' ewes, 7s 10(1 to 8s 9d; poor wethers, 30s 7d, t best lambs, 9s to 9s lOd, others, 8s to 8s lOd; ' store owes, 4s. Porkers, 225.
