Auckland, April 2. Following are the acceptances for the undermentioned events : —

Easier Handicap-Miss Rose, Daystar, Acone, Woodstock, Picklock, Lillio, Rex, Crusoe, Lady Marion, Favoua, Record Reign, Wairongomai, St. Paul, Target, Castashore, Eton, Daunt.

Steeplechase— Muscatel, Miss Nelson, Itch, Levanter, St. Simon, Magpie, Kingawood.

W. Hatfield, who is well and favorably known throughout the colony as a steady and industrious trainer and jockey, has decided to take up his abode in Wanganui. " Billy" has a long Australian experience to commend him, besides which he possesses several flattering testimonials fiom well-known racing men as to his ability as a mentor. As Hatfield intends starting here in the above capacity, we trust he will soon get a string together, and those entrusting horses to his care will have no cause to rogret it.
