FITZGERALD'S CIRCUS AND MENAGERIE.
Next Wednesday and Thursday in Wanganui.
The opening performance of the above in Wanganui will take place on Wednesday evening. Messrs Fitzgerald Bros.' have added several new attractions to the show since its last visit to Wanganui, so that a novel arid unique performance is promised. A new circus company has been specially procured From London at great expense, in addition to a number of wild and trained animals", and the management promise patrons an opportunity of witnessing some of the most startling and sonsational feats that have ever been^ attempted in the circus ring. The combination will no doubt draw very large audiences hero. An exchange in criticising the performance, says — The last scene of all was the sensational act of the elephant and lion in a special ring surrounded with a cage of iron. Her Zapi, who appears in the ring, has the king of beasts under his control, and tho way that the lion rides lound the ring on Lizzie's back is a marvel of.modern training.
