We had only a small entry of stock at St-Hill Street on Wednesday. Bidding under the hammer was slow, most of the stock being sold afterwards. We have no alteration in value to report. 2-tooth ewes, 6s 3d ; wethers, 6s lid to 7s ; shorn lambs, 3s Id ; cnll ewes, Is 6d to Is lid ; fat lambs, 6s ; small porkers, 10s to 14s. On Friday we held our first sale at MaDgamahu. With the exception of two lots of wethers, the stock was second, rMe to inferior, We were unfortunate jp, ha.v. ing no outside buyers, so, business was consequently confined Vo> the requirements of local set.UVs, this being of a limited nature,, wie amount of business done was small, Forward steers, £3; 15-months steers, 20s ; shorn lambs, 3s Id J cull ewes, Is 6d to 2s ; forward ewes, 4s.
