Messrs F. R. Jackson and Co.'s Johnsonville Stock Report.
We had our usual entry of fat cattle. Choice handy weights "made 14s, good beef 13s, and coarse bullocks 12s the lOOlba. Fat bullocks ranged from £5 5s to £5 17s 6d ; light beasts, £4 10s to £5. Sheep, in average numbers, -were in better demand. Prime ewes, 7s 4d to 7s 6d; others, 7s Id to 7s 2d ; fat ewes, 6s 6d to 6s lid ; medium wethers, 8s lid ; stores, 7s ; half-fatted shorn lambs, 4s 8d to 5s lOd ; lambs in wool, (s 7d to 6s 9d ; culled ewes, Is 6d to 2s 6d. No pigs were yarded.
