Acckland, March 18. The iuterprovincial cricket match, Hawke's Bay v. Auckland, took place today. There were 150 people present. The Hawke's Bay first innings closed for 123, the only players ta.reach double figures being H. Bj Lusk (50), Cato and Marshall (19 each). Auckland's first innings cloied for ?§j the only double figure's beiiig Warren flflj and Willis (?$. ' : \ 4 In Hawke's' Bay's second innings two wickets are down for 56 runs, H. 8.-Lnsk (23) not out. ' ; ; . The play of both teams was indifferent.' The Auckland team made a poor stand against tho bowling of Fannin. Tbe play resumes to-morrow morniag.
