The Grand Aggregate Match— loo of the highest aggregates firing at 500, 600, and 700 yaids— is now proceeding. The first two distances have been finished, Wilson (Woodvillo) pntting on the possible at 500 yards. At 600 yards Ross (Napier) and T. .Fraser (Kaitangata) shot best, each getting on 31. McGregor (Oamarn) and Boss are leading for the nmtoh. Tho wind is increasing, and there is likely to be a change at the longer dis> tar.cc. Owing to the strong wind the shooting in (he Grand Aggregate Match at 700y'ds Ji*B to be stopped. Several of the targets broke up. Many of the competitors had finished at this range, but it. not unlikely that the Counoi will decide that the range he shot over agaiu. The Queen's Rifles, Oamaru, take first *prize in the Champion Teams's Match with 1865. An error occurred through the sheets not being correct. Owing to no money having been subscribed by local residents towards the Oamaru Matoh, the prize-money for this match has been reduced from £120 to £63, the latter 'sum being the amount awarded to other matches.
