TIRED OF LIFE.
(Per United Press Association.) Auckland, March 16. It was Mrs Flanagan (not Mr Flanagan as previously telegraphed) who attempted to commit suicide at Paeroa by Bwallowing a number of match heads. The woman is now considered out of danger. She is, however, in a very bad state and longing for death. Her husband, who is living in close proximity to the Thames, has Beveral times been brought before the Court and chaiged with failing to maintain her. Mrs Flanagan and her children are in vory destitute circumstances. As the battle of life was too much for hor she thought she would end all by swallowing match heads. She says she is tired of lifo and wants to die. She has four little children.
