The principal celebrations are the Hibernian sports on the Basin Reserve and picnics. Mr John Duthie, M.H.R., leaves for London via 'Frisco to-day. At a meeting of his suppoitors last night he said he expected tho Government would run the full term ofythepresept Parliament before a dissolution took^/lace.
