Brassey, speaking at a meeting at Tunbridge Wells, said Britain was now well ablo to meet any two Powers in naval combat. She could hold her onn against the allied forces of Russia, Germany, and France. Nows has been received that a force of Russian marines landed at Chemulpo, in Coroa, and proceeded to Seoul, the capital. They took with them a large quantity of stores. Reports from Madrid state that public feeling in that city favours peaoe New Youk, March 16. A remarkable demonstiation of feeling towards Britain is general in the United States. " God Save the Queon" was sung in many New York theatres.
