The Englishmen's play was of a very uneven character. Kanjit was badly missed by Worrall, after making a single. With two wickots down for S9, Hay ward and Ranjit entered on a fine partnership, 143 appearing before a dissolution was effected. Tho Indian's innings, however, was of an uncertain character. The second contury had just tinned when Haywaid was dismissed. The next three wickets fell for nothing. At the close of the day's play Storer and Board looked like making a gaod dibplay. Englishmen.
