It ia intended to utillise the existing 33ft span and the pier. The span will he raised and the pier strengthened, and in addition there will be two lift spans.We 80ft span and one 15ft span, all on pile piers, all the piles being of ironbark except those on the end pier. The superstructure will be raised to give a clearance of from 7ft to Bft above the List flood. The' proposed bridge is designed by Mr W. H. Halea, Engineor-in-Cbief to the Pnblio Works Department.
