American Papers Suggest the Alliance of America, Britain, and Japan.
New York, March 11. The Herald states that Sir Julian Pamicefote oonveyed the Queen's message of sympathy to President MoKinley in his efforts to relieve the distress at Cuba, and expresses tile hope lhat war will he averted. President McKinley returned thanks and hoped it would be possible to avert war. The feeling in tho States is increasingly favorable to Britain. Some newspapers discuss the desirableness of forming an alliance with America, Britain, and Japan.
