" Paul Jones."
The above talented ootnpany were favoured with a paoked house at the Oddfellows' Hall lait (Thursday) evening, to witness (he production of Planquotte's charming oomio opera " Paul Jones. The piece went from start to finiih without a hitch, and the acting, singing, and scenery was unmistakeably good. Tho audienoe showed their appreciation by frequent applause, many of the members boing encored. Miss Maud Bontty, as " Paul Jones " looked and acted her part of tho dsahiDg sailor and ardent lover to a nioety, end Mill Marion Mitchell as "Yevnno" was pretty and vivacious. Mr Alf Stevens as "Bouellabaisse" and Master Oalbeit, as his approntice, needless to say did full juitioo to their respective parts, and fairly convulsed tho audience. All the other pacts were ably sustained. To-night tho company close their Wanganui season, when Audran's famous comio opnra,
"Ia Jffascotte," will be staged, and no doubt another packed hoase will greet this favourite company:
