Nelson, March 6. At the Supreme dourt to-day in the case of Hans ban/ialowßgainsi; John Kerr, of lake Stiition, in action for jggoO damages for malicious prosecution on a charge of sheop stealing in 189?, the jury found tor the plaintiff (Franzelow) \rith danrnijes for J3?CO. Sir Hawlay for the defendant (Ketr) had louve reasrvpd to apply for a non-suit within throe weeks, on the ground that Kerr was not tho prosecutor, but that the police were. This closed the sittings of tho court. Wellington, March 5.
