The discussion in the Legislative Assembly with referxnoe to the cretr of the ship, Port Glasgow, came to nothing. Mr Kidd, Postmastir-Goneral, soys Mio Now Sonth Wales Government will uot •gree to the proposals of tho Imperial Government, with regard to Imperial penny postage, unless the Home Government undertake to bear the cost, which will mean £80,000 a year to New South Wales alone.
Adelaide, December 14. Tha Bill authorising the payment of a bonus for the enconragoment of the butter industry, after being returned from the Legislative Assembly, was rejected by tho Council by 10 to 9.
