MEtuoraNß, October 16. This vras a wet morning at Flemington. Whimbrel did a good gallop of a mile and a half. Knight of tho Garter covered a mile in lmin 49isec, and Paris boat Mitre over six furlongs in lmin 22Jsec. Melos and Norbert went a mile and a half in 2min Sljsec. Kossuth, Moonray, and Trieste, had a spin togethor for half a milo and finished in tho order named, the time recorded being 63sees. Wilga covered fire furlongs in lmin 7isec and Pieorust and Albormarle six furlongs in lmin 22seo. Belgiorno was sent for a gallop and displayed phenomenal pace for a few furlongs. Ethelbert has been scratched for the Caulfield Cup.
Carbine is at 100 to 11 for the Melbourne Cup, and Stromboli 4to 1 for the V.R 0. Derby.
