Pabis, October 7 -The French papers, referring to fche establishment of the Commune of Franeeville, New Hebrides, deny that the movement indicates any design on fche part of France to annex the islands. The returns of 153 ballots have been received, showing 108 Republicans elected and 45 Oppositionists, moluding 12 Royalists. Paris returned 22 Republicans and 14 Boulangists. London, October 7 — The Calliope has been ordered home, and tho crew will be paid off. The wool sales close on the 15th October. Slavin has challenged Wolf Bendoff to meet him with gloves. Boulanger has takon up his residence at Jersey. Beblin, October 7 — The dock laborers at Flembury, in Schleswig-Holstein, have struck. It is believed they are acting in connection with the London Union. St. Peteksbbbo-, October 7 — The Russian Government is increasing the plant on the Kutais railway, south of the Caucasus, for transport purposes. Ifc is regarded as probable that if the Porte recognises Ferdinand as Prince of Bulgaria Russia will interfere by force of arms next May.
