AN ACKNOWLEDGMENT.

TO TBE EDITOR.

Sib, — It is a very good motto, ''Speak as you find," and this I wish to do for the benefit of the very large number of men engaged in occupations more or less dangerous, who are liable to meet with an accident at any moment. lam a bushman, and insured about the middle of last month in the Accident Indemnity Company, whose Auckland office is in Fort Street. I paid £2 7*= 6d a hall-year for a weekly benefit of £2 in the event "of accident. On the lßt September 1 was unfortunate enough to get a very bad cut nearly severing one of my toes and severely injuring another. I immediately gave notice to the local agent for the Company (Mr H. C. Powell, of Helensvilie), who »t once obtained and sent off to Auckland the necessary papers claiming compensation. The firat £2 was received by telegraph next morning. I shortly afterwards went to Auckland, and on calling at the office was immediately paid the second week's money, md I have to-day received £6, in full settlement of the balance of my claim; I wish all working men to understand that if they wish to provide for a rainy day, they should insure against accident iv the Accident Indemnity Company, in Fort htreet. Ihe cost is very small, and the settlement prompt and liberal. I speak as I find. — Yours, &c, Patuiok Coylb.— [Advt.] Agent for Wanganui, — H. E. DYMOCK.
