I'lios Barnott. — The Deputy Assignee stated that at a meeting of creditors called to consider the debtor's application, three attended, and passed a resolution refusing their asaent. Messrs W. Aiken and F. Richards gave evidence iv favor of the debtor obtaining his discharge. Discharge granted.

Application made by the Deputy Assignee for release in the estates of W. R. Hunter, F. M. Willmott, Henry Humphry, Jas A. Kobertson, Wm Mitchell, A. C. Staite, and Wm Humphry. Granted.

Application made by Mr Notman on behalf of Mr G. Scott, Deputy Assignee at Palmerston. for admission of the proof of the National Bank in the estate of Geo. Marsh, of Palmerston. Granted.

The Mangawhero Road Board met to-day, when there were present — Messrs Kennedy (in the chair), Lees, Parker, and Anderson. A circular from the Property Tax Commissioner re the forthcoming valuation was read. It was resolved that tenders should be called for the formation of 16 chains of road near Georgetti's sheep-dip. A few accounts were passed for payment, and tho Board then adjourned.
