Six of the nine men arrested in conneo tion with the Porirua whisky oases have been released, the amounts due by them having been paid, July has been scratched for the Wellington Gold Cup. The Dunedin Trades and Labor Counoil urge the Government to introduce a clause into the mail contracts prohibiting the employment of Chinese ciews.
