March 12.
The ceremony of laying the foundation stone of St Patrick's College will take place on Sunday next. The Bishops of Auckland, Dunedin, and Wellington, and a large number of the clergy and laity from all parts of the colony are expected.
i The Wellington Woollen Factory have secured a site of 11 acres for a factory at Petone, six miles from town.
