No entry will be received for any race except upon this condition — That all disputes arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or any one tney may appoint. RULES AND "REGULATIONS, No entry will be received for any race except upon this condition — That all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final. All entries must be sealed and addressed to the Hon Secretary, Box No. 12, Waverley, entrance money enclosed (exchange must be added to cheques), with the name, age at time of entry, pedigree, and in case of handicaps, the performances of horses, name of the owner, and colours of the rider. Any jockey riding except in colours entered will be fined 3 soys, When two or more horses start, the property of the same owner, a distinguishing colour must be worn-. All persons intending to withdraw horses are required to give notice to that effect to the Secretary or Olerk of the Scales one half-hour before starting. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this rule shall pay a fine of 5 soys to the race fund. All raceß to be run under the W.J.C, Rules. Horses walking over will only receive half the stakes. In all races the second horse only saves his stakes when it is especially mentioned that he does so. No qualification fee. No entries or nominations will be received under any pretence whatever after the specified time for closing.
