A two roomed cottage belonging to J. Lett wan burnt down at 3.30 this morning. The house was empty. The adjoining cottage was gutted, aud another on the other side escaped owing to the exertions of the Fire Brigade. All the cottages were empty. The A. and P. Show on Thursday promiaes to be a success. The entries are more nnmerous than last year, especially in sheep,
