Handicap, 3 soys ; Guinea', 4 soys. RULES AND REGULATIONS. No entry will bo received for any races except upon this condition — that all disputes, claims and objections, arising out of the racing shall be decided by a maj >rity of the Stew ards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of this Programme shall be final. All entries must be sealed and addressed to the Hon. Secretary Box No. 12, Waverley, entrance money enclosed (exchange must be add.d to cheques) with the name, age at time of entry, pedigree, and in case of handicaps, the performances of horses, name of the owner, and colors of the rider. Any Jockey riding except in colors entered will be fined 3 soys. When two or more horses start, the property of the same owner, a distinguishing color must be worn. All persons intending to withdraw horses are required to give notice to that effect to the Secretary, or Clera of the Scales, one half hour before starting — <my person neglecting or refusing to comply with this rule shall pay a fine of 5 soys. to the race fund. All races to be run under the W. J, C. rules. Horses walking over will only receive half the stakes. In all races the second horae only saves his stakes when it Is especially mentioned that he does so. No qualification fee. No entries or nominations will be received ■r Jder any pretence whatever after the specified time for closing.
