THE WILL CASE.
«. PROSPECTS OF A SETTLEMENT. Shortly before 4 o'clock this afternoon the case for the plaintiffs in the action of McGregor v Boyd closed, and an adjournment taken till 10 o'c'ock the following morning. Mr Travers understood that the adjournment would tend to shorten the case, and might be desirable for another reason. It was understood that the learned gent'eman referred to pending negotiations for a settlement of the dispute.
