T EWIS'S for BARGAINS. hpo' THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY X OF WANGANUI. The Petition of the undersigned Ratepayers of the Wangaehu Board District in the County of Wanganui, respectfully showeth : 1. That, your petitioners are desirous that the part of the Wangaehu Road District comprised within the boundaries hereinafter set forth and forming one continuous area, shall by special order of the Council be made in accordance with the provisions of the "Road Boards Act, 1882," be declared to constitute a new Road District under the name of the Mangawhero Road District. 2. That your petitioners desire that the boundaries of the proposed new District shall be as follows, that is to say :— ' Commencing at a point on the Western Boundary of the Wangaehu Highway District, the same being the South Western corner of the Waipakura Reserve ; thence along the Southern boundary thereof to the South Western corner of section No 342, thence along the South Western boundaries of sections Nos 342, 341, 340, and 339 to the South Eastern corner of the last-named section; thence along the South Eastern boundary of No 339 to the North Western corner of section No 336, thence along the South Western boundary of sections Nos 330 *nd. 305, to the South Eastern corner pi the Utter seotion, thence along the Eastern boundary of No 305 to the North Eastern corner thereof, thence by a straight line to Fleetwood's trig station, thence by a straight line on , a true, bearing pf about 55° 30' to the Wangaehu River, and thence Northerly, and following the present boundaries of the Wangaehu Highway distriot, returning to the. South Western corner of the Waipakura reserve, the starting point. 3. That this petition is signed by the requisite number of ratepayers as provided by the " Road Boards Act, 1882."
