The ship BroombaU will finish discharging cart;o in Wellington about next Monday, and will probably sail immediately afterwards for Calcutta in ballast.
The Manawatu left Wellington at 1 p.m. on Friday, experiencing smooth sea Terawiti, thence fresh head wind and cross sea till arrival. Sighted two schooners steering south off Terawiti ; arriving off the bar at 6 this (Saturday) morning, and making fast to tho Corporation wharf at 7.80. The Manawatu brings 86 tons of general cargo and 13 passengers. She left again for Wellington at spm o'clock this evening.
