MR ANDERSON'S ART UNION.
The drawing for the above came off as advertised, on Saturday evening, the Hall being fairly filled with spectators. The various pictures were much admired, and some of them changed hands at a considerable advance directly after being won. The principal prize, a sewing machine, was won by Miss Campbell, of Manutahi, Mr J. Thomson winning " the second. No hitch occurred in the drawing, and everything passed off to the satisfaction of the ticket holders. The following are the winning numbers :—: — |No. Prize. No. Prize.
