January 24th, 18S3. TO THE ELECTORS OF THE TOWN OF WANGANUI. Wanganui, Jan 20, 1873. n ENTLEMEN, — The Provincial IT Council of Wellington having been dissolved, an election of members will take place in about two weeks. I beg to announce that I am a candidate for re-election, and will feel myself honored by a continuance of the trust you have reposed in me since 1867. My opinions on provincial affairs are known to the most of you, and before the day of election there will be an opportunity—perhaps more than one—of going into details, of which! shall avail myself. I have the honor to be, ; gentlemen, your obedient servant, WILLIAM HUTCHISON. Jan2o, 1873. TO THE ELECTORS OF THE TOWN OF WANGANUI. n ENTLEMEN,—At the eleventh IT hour I have consented to come forward as a candidate for the Provincial Council. I have only done so at the -urgent request of many of my fellow townsmen,: and if elected will endeavour to faithfully perform the trust reposed in me. Among many and important reasons, the principal one actuating me on this occasion is the want of that unanimity among the members for the town which has been so conspicuous by its absence hitherto, and which has on so many occasions precluded this part of the province from receiving that clue share of atteiation and revenue, which its importance warrants. Placing myself in your hands, I am, gentlemen, yours faithfully, W. FINNIMORE Feb 1, 1873. ■• WANGAEHU ELECTION. TO THE ELECTORS OF THE WAFGAEHU DISTRICT.
