VICTORY ON THE EAST COAST.
The following- information has been teloimiphed to the Government at Wellington :—
On the 6th inst., Colonel more took Ahikereru pa, killing seven of the tribe, and taking- afl the women prisoners.
The chief prophet of the Uriweras was among- the killed.
