TO THE EDITOR OP.THE EVENING HERAI/D. Wanganui, Feb;l3, 1869.. Sir,—Are the public aware that the Wanganui bakers lately held a. meeting to consider whether they should reduce the price of bread ? At that meeting it was resolved that bread-shonld remain at its old, the alleged reason beinsr that the bakers had so many bad debts on their books. This is sweating the readymoney purchasers' With a vengeance, aiid making them pay for the bakers' want of judgment.—V.ours, &c, Cash Purchaser.
