AMATEUR CONCERT.
The complimentary farewell concert to Mrs J. R. Fraser took place on Wednesday evening, and was pronounced the best in point of quality that hnp been given here for a long time. The only regret was that the attendance was rather meagre. Mr Haselden presided, and upon this occasion was particularly happy in his remarks when introducing eacli contributor. The audience was very appreciative, and re-calls were frequent. Of " first appearances" Mr Holdsworth calls for mention ; he has a tirst-class voice, and uses it very pleasingly. The following was the programme presented : Overture, Piano and Flute—Miss Munson and Mr Landenberger Song, "Hearts of Oak"—Mr Christophers Song—" Thy Voice," Miss Virtue Song—" Jack's Yarn " —Mr Pain Duett, "Happy Pays"—Mrs Kulling and Miss Marris Song—" Esmerelda " —Miss Munson Song, " True to the Last"—Mr Munro Song—Mrs Findt Song, " Our Jack's Como Homo"—Mr Weston Duett—"Merry Minstrels," Miss Munson and Miss Marris Song, "New Electric Light"—Mr T. Atchison Overture, Piano—Miss F. Thorpe Trio, " The Wreath"—Mrs Barkley, Miss Munson, and Mr Holdsworth Song, " Lassie"—Mr Marris Recitation—"The Pipes at Lucknow," Miss Morris Song, "Shall I Wear a White Rose"— Mrs Kelling Song, " The Little Hero"-M, Pain Song, "The Silver Rhine"—Mi's Barkley Song, "The Gallants of England"—Mr Holdsworth Song—Mrs Findt Song, " The Tar's Farewell"—Mr Munro Duett, "O'er the Hill, O'er the Dale"— Mrs Barkley and Miss Munsou Song, "Let Me Like a Soldier Fall" Mr Christophers. Concluding with the National Anthem, by the Company. The accompaniments were played by Mrs Kelling, Misses McGcorge, Munson, Pain, and Master Thorpe.
