Mr H. M. Boddington reports that 5 points of rain fell at Solway during the! 24 hours ended 9 a.m. to-day. TO-DAY’S FORECAST. The indications are for westerly moderate winds backing by west to south and freshening. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather but clouding over. Rain later to-morrow. Mild. The barometer shows little movement. SUN. ■ The sun rose to-day 4.41 a.m., sets 7.45 p.m.
