FORESTERS’ LODGE

MEETING AT CARTERTON. The fortnightly meeting of the Court Marquis of Normanby, A.0.F., was held at Carterton last evening, Bro. C. Moore, C.R., presiding. The Woodwards reported in regard to the brothers on the sick funds, and the progress they were making towards recovery. Advice was received from the District Office, Wellington, advising that, owing to the indisposition of the District Secretary, Bro. C. Edwards would act as District Secretary in the meantime. The District Office also advised that the Otago Ritual had been adopted for future use. Bro. Jas. Fisher (Clareville) reported on a visit made to Mauriceville West to attend the final card tourney, which had proved very enjoyable, the visitors being most hospitably entertained. The next tourney, he said, would be held at Eketahuna.
