SERIOUS FLOODS
VILLAGES INUNDATED. SEVERAL LIVES LOST. ATHENS, Tuesday. Torrential rains caused severe flooding in Western Greece..; Twenty villages were inundated, several'lives being lost. Losses of stock are heayy. At Sofia, heavy snowstorms and rains caused serious floods, cutting rail communication in several parts of Bulgaria. Three men perished in snowdrifts on the Rila Mountain. Widespread damage to Avinter crops is reported.
